Cookie and Local Storage Notice
1. What this notice covers
This notice explains how Insightus Calendar uses cookies, local storage, session storage, and similar technologies. In this build, the main storage technology is browser local storage. Supabase authentication may also use essential session storage/cookies when account sync is enabled.
2. Essential storage
Essential storage is used to remember calendar content, user settings, theme choices, cookie/privacy choices, local drafts, account session state, and security/recovery flows. Without this storage, the app may not remember events, settings, or sign-in state.
3. Optional analytics and marketing
This build does not run advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or optional analytics by default. If optional analytics, marketing cookies, or embedded third-party tracking are introduced later, the consent interface must be updated before those technologies run.
4. Third-party content and links
Opening a Google Maps link, Apple Maps link, feed article, recipe, YouTube page, or public calendar provider may allow that third party to use cookies or similar technologies under its own policy. Insightus Calendar does not control those external sites.
5. Your choices
The in-app privacy notice allows users to choose essential-only storage. Users can also clear browser data, use private browsing, revoke microphone permissions, sign out, export data, and erase local data through Settings. Blocking essential storage may break core app features.
6. Changes
If the app adds analytics, ads, or new tracking categories, this notice and the consent popup should be updated with clear choices before deployment.
